Nebula Brewing Co.

OBJECTIVE
There seems to be a craft beer brand for every niche out there and I’m happy to introduce my own addition: Human made objects in space. Nebula Brewing Co. is a local brewing company created by two astrophysicists. Each bottle features a different kind of probe, satellite etc. with short fun facts about it. The goal was to create an accessible and visually appealing design for a beer bottle that anyone who’s even remotely interested in space could get some joy out of. Then using the brand’s design, I create several components for branding use.

PROCESS
The first step was creating the bottle designs. I chose three space objects to represent three different flavours. I illustrated the probes and satellites in Procreate and brought them to Photoshop for tweaking. I also decided to represent each bottle with its own colour to make each individual bottle stand out. Using the logo and photos of the final bottles, I created a fun magazine ad to promote the beer, as well as a shirt for the brewery’s waiters and a table talker promoting a limited edition meal. I made sure all parts of the project went together nicely and that the final product was appealing and cohesive.
